local outreaches

"If your Gospel isn't touching others, it hasn't touched you."

- Curry R. Blake

Through our Community Groups and all-church outreaches we put the Gospel into practice by reaching out to our community. To get involved, contact your Community Group leader to find what local events they are participating in.

The heart of Compassion in Action is to serve our neighborhood by meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the working poor in the community. We meet these needs through large annual events as well as smaller on-going activities. Compassion in Action engages the people of our church to grow in their own walk with God while they invest their time into serving others.

Weekly Opportunities to get involved in this Winter:

- Reading Buddies at local elementary schools

- Lunch Buddies at local elementary schools

- Donate food for the school's food bank (collection bins in church lobby)

I-5 Clean Up Team

Impacting our community comes in all kinds of forms - and one of the ways that we make a practical difference is cleaning up a portion of I-5. Once every 6-8 weeks we put on our work gloves, our hard hats and our reflective vests and we head out to pick up garbage off the side of the road.
