Our Beliefs

  • We believe that God inspired the Bible, and it is without error (II Tim.3:16; I Co. 3:13).

  • We believe in the Eternal God who has revealed Himself as One God existing in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit (Mt.28:18-20; II Co. 3:18).

  • We believe in the literal creation of the universe, and the creation of man as distinct from all other living things and animals (Gen.1).

  • We believe God created man male and female wonderfully, distinctly, and immutably (Gen.1:26-28; 2:18-25; Mt.19:4-6).

  • We believe marriage has only one meaning, the uniting of one man and one woman in an exclusive union made by covenant; and that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of marriage (Ex.20:14; Lev. 18:6-24;I Co.6:18; 7:2-5; Heb.13:4).

  • We believe in the full, clear, and literal record of primeval history as recorded in the Book of Genesis (II Tim.3:16; Heb.4:4;11; Mt.19:4-5).

  • We believe in the test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis and in man's total depravity and inability to attain a position of righteousness before God apart from the Grace of God (Ro.5:12,18).

  • We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ is the Savior of men, conceived by The Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, who is completely God and completely man (Lk.1:26-35;Jn.1:18;Is.7:14;9:6).

  • We believe that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and appeared to His followers (I Co.15:1-8; Ro.4:25).

  • We believe in the physical ascension of Jesus to Heaven, His exaltation, and His literal and physical coming again the second time for the Church to bring final judgment on the world (Jn.14:2-3;I Thes.4:13-18; II Thes.1:6-10).

  • We believe in the salvation of sinners through repentance and faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross, by which we receive the forgiveness for and the removal of sin (Eph.2:8-9; Heb.9:12, 22; Ro. 5:11).

  • We believe in the necessity of water Baptism by immersion in the name of the Eternal Godhead as Jesus Christ commanded (Mt.28:19; Ac. 2:38-39; 19:1-6).

  • We believe in the Baptism of The Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in a prayer language as an experience, simultaneously with or subsequently to salvation, as foundational to living a Christian life (Ac. 2:1-4;8:14-17;10:44-48;19:1-6).

  • We believe in the present operation of the spiritual gifts listed in I Co.12-14 and Ro.12:3-8 as manifested in The Early Church.

  • We believe in living a life of separation and holiness in the fear of God, acknowledging the presence and tendency  of our carnal nature that must be brought under the control of The Holy Spirit as we walk with Christ (Eph.5:18;II Co. 6:14;7:1;Ro.6-8).

  • We believe in the healing of the physical body by Divine healing in its various means as practiced by The Early Church (Ac. 4:30; Ro.8:11; I Co.12:9; Ja.5:14).

  • We believe in the Table of The Lord, commonly called "Communion" or "The Lord's Supper", for believers in Christ (I Co.11:23-32).

  • We believe in the present operation of the office of Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelists as post ascension gifts given by Jesus Christ to bring His Church to maturity (Eph.4:7-16).

  • We believe in eternal life for believers (Jn.3:16; 5:24) and eternal punishment for unbelievers (Mk.9:43-48; II Thes.1:9; Rev.20:10-15).

  • We believe in the reality of the person called Satan who opposes God and His Church presently and the eternal judgment of Satan and his angels (Mt.25:41; Rev.20:10-15).
