"For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." Is. 56:7
If we are going to accomplish anything for God and His glory, we must learn to partner with God in prayer. The early church moved in signs and wonders, exercised spiritual gifts, and led thousands to Christ. In the modern church we want to do the same, but we forget that they were steadfast in prayer, both privately and publicly. We want the power of primitive Christianity without the prayer life of primitive Christians.
This is why it is our conviction that City Harvest Church be a House of Prayer. We believe that prayer is to be a part of our weekend celebration services and a part of our weekly House Church gatherings. We don't gather together to talk about God but to talk to God and listen for His voice through the Word and the Spirit.
We also have scheduled corporate prayer meetings:
- First Saturday of the month at 8:00 A.M. = Men’s Prayer
- Third Saturday of the month at 8:00 A.M. = Women’s Prayer
- Prayer for Weekend Celebration Services at 4:00 P.M. every Saturday.
- Prayer for the Nations every Tuesday morning at 6:30 A.M.
- Prayer for Signs and Wonders every Wednesday at 12:00 noon.
