It is the vision of CHC to multiply disciples and leaders.  One of the tools we use to equip leaders is our School of Ministry.  School of Ministry offers a 30 hour leadership training track that includes:

Ministry 100: Discovering Our Values

 This class is for the individual that is interested in becoming a member of CHC. What motivates us?  What is our goal?  Where are we headed?  What will it look like?  How will we get there?  Building unity and being “in one accord" begins with answering these questions for class members.  Values drive vision, and vision tells us what we do as a local church.  Values tell us why we need to fulfill that vision.  Discovering Our Values class introduces everyone who wants to become an active partner in the ministry of City Harvest Church to the values that drive our vision.  This class is a pre-requisite to becoming involved in the ministry of City Harvest Church and other privileges of being a City Harvest Church member.

Ministry 200: Basic Discipleship

 This class focuses on the basic foundational spiritual disciplines of a disciple of Jesus Christ.  The course lays down the principles of personal prayer, personal Bible reading, witnessing one’s faith, and becoming a discipler of others.  There is a special emphasis on how to use Larry Kreider’s Foundations Series (CHC’s main tool for discipling new converts) with a new believer.  This class is a pre-requisite for Ministry 300, our Body Ministry class.  It is also required before being released into some ministry areas of City Harvest Church.

Ministry 300: Body Ministry

 What are the ministry opportunities available to me at City Harvest Church?  How can I know what God is calling me to do?  Am I ready?  What will be expected of me?  This class discusses how City Harvest Church functions as a community and helps you find your place of ministry.  Body Ministry presents our “two winged" approach to ministry; the Biblical basis of authority and how the authority structure at CHC functions; how to discern God’s call on your life; the lifestyle and character requirements of a leader; and the duties and responsibilities of different roles at CHC with practical helps and materials.

Ministry 400: House Church Pastor Training

 Concise, practical equipping for House Church Pastors at City Harvest Church.  This course includes ideas, resources, and training for key issues including duties and responsibilities, meeting management, worship, children, alternative meeting topics, counseling, deliverance, evangelism, benevolence, and common challenges.  This course is designed to provide the basics necessary to lead a House Church with skill and confidence.

In addition to our 30 hour ministry training course, CHC offers general equipping courses such as Worship Essentials, Marriage Mentors, Parenting Basics, and general Bible classes.
