Psalm 13
Just when I was whining to myself about how these passages are broken up in the middle of a Psalm, here is this last verse of Ps 13 all alone and screaming my name. "I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me." I like to sing. People have reasoned with me that I like to sing because I have a pretty decent voice. But what if God gave me a pretty decent voice because I like to sing? The Lord HAS been good to me and singing about it comes naturally.
The truth is that I would be really frustrated if I couldn't sing to God. It's my favorite way of telling him how much I appreciate what he has done for me. It's possible that some who are reading this hate (or at least don't like) to sing. OK. But has the Lord been good to you? How do you tell him or show him your appreciation? Fill in the blank.
